Module settings

Open the settings via Modules → Module Manager → WEB Vision – Opustené košíky → Settings.

If you run several shops (multistore), the settings are saved for the shop selected in the admin header. Settings saved for “all shops” apply to shops that have no settings of their own.

Field Meaning
Send after (hours) How long after the last cart change the e-mail is sent.
Include guests Contacting a guest who entered an e-mail at checkout. Check that you have a legal basis (consent or legitimate interest).
Only with consent to news Sends the e-mail only to customers who subscribed to news.
Do not remind groups / addresses Customer groups, specific addresses, or a whole domain (e.g. *@company.com) that do not receive reminders.

The e-mail can contain a personal coupon:

  • No coupon, percentage discount or free shipping.
  • The coupon’s validity.
  • Minimum order value (including VAT).
  • Combining with other coupons.
  • Excluding discounted products.

The coupon is personal (valid only for that customer), single-use, and is put into the cart after clicking the link. If the e-mail fails, the coupon is deleted. Unused coupons are deleted a day after they expire.

You can enter your own subject and text for each language. These variables can be used:

  • {firstname}: the customer’s first name,
  • {lastname}: the last name,
  • {shop_name}: the shop name.

An empty field means the default text in the language of the cart. The coupon, products and button are added below the text.

  • Oldest cart: how far back the module takes carts into account.
  • At most one e-mail per X days per customer.
  • How long the history is kept (records are deleted after this time).

Set the address from the Sending panel up on the server to run once an hour.

  • Cron finds customers’ carts that last changed at least N hours ago, are not older than the limit, contain goods and never became an order.
  • Only the customer’s latest cart is used. If the customer bought in the meantime, nothing is sent.
  • Each cart gets an e-mail at most once. A failed send is tried again, at most 3 times.
  • The e-mail is in the cart’s language (sk, cs, en). Another language gets English.
  • The Unsubscribe link in the e-mail footer adds the address to a list that receives nothing more.
