WEB Vision – Oversized shipping
The module handles shipping priced on request for goods an ordinary courier will not carry. The customer orders without paying, you enter the shipping price, and the customer confirms or rejects it in an e-mail.
What the module does
Section titled “What the module does”- On the product page, for oversized goods it shows a label and a notice that you will confirm the shipping price.
- In a cart with oversized goods it offers only the module’s carrier (e.g. “SDS – oversized shipment”) and the carriers you allow (e.g. personal pickup). For an ordinary cart it hides the module’s carrier.
- The customer orders without payment (“Order with shipping quote”, Objednávka s nacenením dopravy). In the order you enter the shipping price. The module writes it into the order and invoice and sends the customer an e-mail with a confirmation link.
- The customer confirms the price (the order moves to a waiting-for-payment status and the customer receives payment details) or rejects it (the order is cancelled). You receive an e-mail about the decision.
- You enter the carrier name in the settings. It is used in the carrier name, on the product and in e-mails.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- PrestaShop 8.1 to 9.x, PHP 7.2 or newer.
- This applies only to addresses in the shop’s country (the default country). For abroad, ordinary carriers are offered.

How it works in brief

- The order waits for the shipping quote. You enter the price.
