Troubleshooting

The key in the address is old (after clicking New addresses) or the license is missing. Copy the address again from the module settings and check the License panel.

A task failed. The error is in Advanced Parameters → Logs (look for [mv_cleaner]).

Cleaning is in batches: one run deletes at most 100 batches of 2000 records. Run the cleaning again, or wait for the next cron run.

The relevant table does not exist in the shop (e.g. you do not use that PrestaShop feature). The task is therefore not shown.

  • Is Allow automatic cleaning via cron on?
  • Does the task have an interval set (not off)?
  • Is cron set to the right address (daily / weekly / monthly)? Look at the time of the last run.

Neither the admin nor the shop works after an update

Section titled “Neither the admin nor the shop works after an update”

If an update fails, it usually rolls back by itself. If it did not, the original version is saved in this folder:

modules/.mvkit/backup/mv_cleaner@<version>

Rename the modules/mv_cleaner folder (e.g. to mv_cleaner_new) and rename the backup folder to mv_cleaner. The settings remained in the database.

If you cannot solve a problem, write to support via the contact page and include:

  • the module version (shown in the License panel) and the PrestaShop version,
  • the exact error text (ideally a screenshot),
  • a description of what you did and what you expected,
  • the address of your shop.

Support and updates are included for the first 12 months after purchase.
