Troubleshooting

Check the Setup status panel: are the Pixel ID, token and consent filled in? The Pixel starts only after consent to the Marketing category. In an incognito window click Accept all and try again.

Generate a new token in Events Manager and paste it into the settings.

Look at the latest errors in the queue. The queue is caught up by cron, so check that cron is running.

Change the API version in the settings (e.g. to a higher one).

Delete the test code in the settings. While it is filled in, server events do not go to ads.

Use the cron/feed.php command. If your hosting does not allow it and the address does not call itself after the limit (the hosting blocks a call to its own domain), set up cron for the &part=feed address every 5 to 10 minutes.

With the Reference marking, the reference of every combination must be unique.

A product without an image does not get into the feed. The price must be greater than 0.

Neither the admin nor the shop works after an update

Section titled “Neither the admin nor the shop works after an update”

If an update fails, it usually rolls back by itself. If it did not, the original version is saved in this folder:

modules/.mvkit/backup/mv_pixel@<version>

Rename the modules/mv_pixel folder (e.g. to mv_pixel_new) and rename the backup folder to mv_pixel. The settings remained in the database.

If you cannot solve a problem, write to support via the contact page and include:

  • the module version (shown in the License panel) and the PrestaShop version,
  • the exact error text (ideally a screenshot),
  • a description of what you did and what you expected,
  • the address of your shop.

Support and updates are included for the first 12 months after purchase.
