Consent records
Under GDPR you must be able to prove that a visitor gave consent. The module therefore stores a record for every choice. You will find them under Customers → Súhlasy s cookies (Cookie consents).
What is stored
Section titled “What is stored”For each visitor’s choice the following is stored:
| Item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Date | When the visitor decided. |
| Choice | Accepted all, Custom choice or Necessary only. |
| Categories | Which categories the visitor allowed (necessary, functional, analytics, marketing). |
| Consent ID | The unique number of the consent. |
| Version | The consent version at the time of the decision (see below). |
| IP (shortened) | The IP address without the last byte (IPv4), or shortened to /48 (IPv6). The full address is never stored. |
| Shop | With multistore, which shop the choice relates to. |
The same choice by the same visitor is stored only once. Records cannot be added or changed manually, because they serve as proof.
Statistics for 30 days
Section titled “Statistics for 30 days”At the top of the list is the Last 30 days panel: how many visitors decided and what share accepted all, made a custom choice and chose necessary only.
Working with the list
Section titled “Working with the list”- Filter by date and by choice.
- Export to CSV with the export button above the list (for an audit or a request from a supervisory authority).
Retention and deletion
Section titled “Retention and deletion”- In Advanced you set how long records are kept (default 12 months). Older ones are deleted automatically when the list is opened and gradually when new records arrive.
- Consent is valid for at most 13 months, so we recommend keeping records for 12 months.
0means never delete. The table then keeps growing. - You can see the number of records and the table size in the Setup status panel.
- If you turn storing off (Store consent records), the list is not filled and the statistics panel says so.
- When the module is uninstalled, the records remain in the database as an archive.
Consent version
Section titled “Consent version”Every record carries a “consent version”. The Request consent again button (Advanced) raises the version and the banner is shown again to all visitors. From the version in a record you can tell which state of services and policies the consent related to.
