WEB Vision – Cash on delivery with a surcharge

The module offers cash on delivery with a surcharge at checkout. You can limit cash on delivery to chosen carriers, currencies and countries, and the surcharge is written into the order as a line including VAT.

• Offers cash on delivery at checkout. You set the name.
• The surcharge can be: none, a fixed amount, a percentage of the price of goods, or a fixed amount plus a percentage. The surcharge is an order line including VAT.
• Cash on delivery is offered only for chosen carriers, currencies and countries (nothing selected = all).
• You choose the order status after confirmation (by default Preparation in progress).
• Rounding the amount for cash: EUR to 5 cents, HUF to multiples of 5.
• A summary of the cash on delivery appears in the order confirmation, in the order detail in My account and in the admin.
• The surcharge lines appear in the order total without editing the theme.

• PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 7.2 or newer.
• A theme that lists the order total (Classic, Hummingbird and similar).
• A valid license (the .lic file is in the downloaded package).

1. At checkout the customer chooses a carrier and the Cash on delivery payment. Next to the option they see the amount of the surcharge.
2. The surcharge is added to the cart as a line and the order summary is refreshed.
3. After confirmation the order is created. The surcharge and the amount to pay are stored with the order.
4. In the order detail in the admin you see how much the carrier collects.
