Module settings
Open the settings via Modules → Module Manager → WEB Vision – Najnižšia cena za 30 dní → Configure.
If you run several shops (multistore), the settings are saved for the shop selected in the admin header. Settings saved for “all shops” apply to shops that have no settings of their own.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Main switch. |
| Only for discounted products | On by default. When off, the text also appears for products without a discount. |
| Lowest price type | Final price with the discount (default) or base price. Changing the type deletes the collected history. |
| Number of days back | At least 30. A lower value is automatically raised to 30. |
| Text position | Above the price or below the price. |
| Display on the detail and in the listing | Turned on separately for the product page and for the product listing. |
| Text | For each language. The variables are described next to the field. |
| Text color | Empty = the theme’s color. |
| Price history chart | An optional Price development link next to the text on the product page. It opens a chart of the price history for the last days. The law does not require it. |
| Customer groups | For each chosen group a separate price is recorded (group discounts). |
| How long to keep history | 30 days by default. Older records are deleted. The valid price before the window and a running discount are kept. |
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- On every price change the module writes a new record (only changes, not every day) and calculates the lowest price in the window from the history.
- The result is in a precomputed index, so showing a page needs just one simple query.
- The index is refreshed automatically when a product is saved and when a discount changes, by hand and by cron (for changes that do not trigger a record, such as a dated discount).
- Prices are calculated in the context of the shop, customer group and country. A separate history is kept only for groups and countries that have their own price (a group discount, a specific price). Others use the shared history, so the database does not grow needlessly.
