WEB Vision – Automatic ECB exchange rates
The module downloads currency exchange rates from the ECB (European Central Bank) every day and writes them into PrestaShop’s currencies, optionally with a markup.
What the module does
Section titled “What the module does”- Once a day it downloads the reference rates from the ECB and writes them into PrestaShop’s currencies the same way PrestaShop does itself (also for all shops with multistore).
- It adds a markup to each currency’s rate: a percentage or a fixed amount.
- An unusually large change of a rate is not written automatically. It waits for your confirmation.
- It stores the history of rate changes (3 months) and offers an Update now button.
- When a rate waits for confirmation, it sends an e-mail to the shop administrator (once per ECB day, can be turned off).
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 7.2 or newer.

www.ecb.europa.eu(HTTPS, PHP cURL). - A valid license (the
.licfile is in the downloaded package). - Cron once a day (see Installation).
