WEB Vision – Company data from the ORSR register

The module fills in company data in the address form from the register. The customer enters the company ID (or starts typing the company name) and the module fills in the name, tax ID, VAT ID, street, city and ZIP. It saves the customer typing and reduces errors in the data on the invoice.

You set one of the ways of filling in:

  • Company ID and a button: next to the company ID field a Load data from ORSR button appears. After a click the module looks up the company and fills in the data.
  • Company name: when the customer types at least 5 characters into the company name field, a list of companies from the register is offered under the field. Choosing one fills in the company ID and the other data.

The module fills in:

  • the company name,
  • the company ID (adjusted to the form from the register),
  • the tax ID and VAT ID,
  • the street, city and ZIP.

If the form does not have the company ID, tax ID or VAT ID fields, the module can add them and orders them below the company name.

Personal data (first and last name) is not provided by the register, so it is not filled in.

The module looks companies up in the free ORSF register (orsf.sk, public data from state registers). The register covers Slovak companies. ORSF is not an official register; the data is informative only.

  • PrestaShop 1.7.6 to 9.x, PHP 7.1 or newer.
  • The PHP extension curl and an outgoing connection of the server to api.orsf.sk (HTTPS).
  • A form with a company ID field. By default PrestaShop has only the dni field in the address (only for some countries) and vat_number. It is usually a field from another module or theme.
  • A valid license (the .lic file is in the downloaded package).
