Module settings
Open the settings via Modules → Module Manager → WEB Vision – Vlastný kód objednávky → Configure. You see the code in the list and detail of orders as the Reference.
If you run several shops (multistore), the settings are saved for the shop selected in the admin header. Settings saved for “all shops” apply to shops that have no settings of their own.
With multistore the sequence is kept for each shop separately.
Basic settings
Section titled “Basic settings”| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Prefix | An optional text or number before the code, at most 10 characters. |
| Order code | The code format (see the overview of formats). Each format has an example with your prefix. |
| Sequence from 1 in a new year | On by default. The sequence starts from 1 in a new year (month). When off, there is one continuous series. |
At the top of the panel is a preview of the code the next order will get.
Advanced
Section titled “Advanced”- Number of digits: zero padding (e.g. 4 digits gives
0042). - Separator between parts:
-,/or.. - Length of the random code: for the Random numeric code format.
How the sequence works
Section titled “How the sequence works”- Only new orders get the code. Existing ones do not change.
- The sequence is counted separately for the shop and year (or month), safely even with simultaneous orders.
- The first use in a year (month) starts after the orders already in it. When you change the format during a year, the series continues.
- With the reset off, the sequence is counted in one series and follows on from all the shop’s existing orders.
- Yearly formats share one series. Changing “Year + sequence” to “Short year + sequence” does not start from 1.
- Orders split from one cart (several carriers) have a shared code, as in PrestaShop.
- If a code is taken (e.g. another shop with the same prefix), the next number is used. With an ID format PrestaShop’s code is kept and a warning is written to the Logs.
